Job Duties:
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, including digital campaigns, influencer marketing, local activations, and seasonal promotions, to increase brand awareness and customer acquisition;
Design and distribute customer surveys and evaluate feedback data related to dining experience, brand perception, and menu satisfaction. Use statistical and qualitative analysis tools to guide menu development and service refinement;
Analyze regional competition and local Asian dining trends, and compile market intelligence reports that inform brand differentiation strategies and restaurant positioning within a crowded hospitality landscape;
Define and manage Sofun’s brand identity across all touch points, from in-store ambiance and packaging to online presence, ensuring consistency in messaging, visual presentation, cultural authenticity, and customer experience;
Plan, produce, and execute original multimedia content, including videos, photography, and short-form storytelling tailored, for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, RedNote, Google Business, Resy, and Yelp to capture the essence of Sofun’s culinary and cultural narratives;
Design and execute online reputation and customer engagement campaigns, including the management of reviews, local SEO initiatives, and community outreach strategies to build a loyal customer base;
Conduct thorough market research and consumer segmentation analysis to identify evolving consumer dining trends, flavor preferences, pricing sensitivities, and lifestyle behaviors within Asian cuisine markets in the U.S., particularly across diverse metropolitan neighborhoods;
Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to synchronize promotional activities with new menu launches, seasonal offerings, and in-store experiences, ensuring campaign timelines support kitchen readiness and customer demand;
Evaluate and analyze marketing campaign performance using marketing analytics tools, measure ROI, reporting dashboards, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management customer acquisition strategies, content effectiveness, and brand engagement levels;
Coordinate in-store events and cross-promotional partnerships with local businesses, creators, influencers, and community organizations to support development of campaign calendars and execution timelines aligned with Sofun’s growth objectives;
Assist in the development of annual marketing budgets and forecasts, and prepare regular reports analyzing customer lifetime value, seasonal demand patterns, and the effectiveness of various outreach channels.
Requirements:
The candidate must possess at least a Master’s degree in Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Market Research, or equivalent, plus at least 12 months of work experience in the same or similar marketing position.
